Solenzara is a hotspot for adventure-lovers, due to its proximity to the Bavella mountain range. Canyoning is particularly popular, with many companies and qualified instructors offering canyoning trips by the river and into the nearby mountains. Trips are suitable for all levels of experience.
There are endless walking trails to enjoy from Solenzara, most of which can be easily accessed from the main town. Breathe in the brisk mountain air, soak up the panoramic vistas that stretch as far as Sardinia, and take a refreshing dip in the cool, fresh water of the rivers. A small mountain village sitting a 10-minute drive from Solenzara, Sari is charming, timeless and authentically Corsican. Wander past the quaint old stone buildings and handsome chapel, say hello to the village’s farm animals, and enjoy views from the panoramic viewpoints.
Lying a suitable day trip’s distance away from Solenzara, Porto Vecchio is one of Corsica’s most fashionable towns.
