Episode two has arrived and it is jam-packed with amazing villages, scenery, activities and of course, beach bars!

The drama continued Monday night, with more love triangles, chats, and gossip, but dramatics aside, the programme showcased yet more beautiful scenery! The boys headed for a walk to Lac de l’Ospedale, a reservoir in the south which has been designated a Zone Naturelle and is surrounded by beautiful forest, just a 40-minute drive from Porto Vecchio. It is a great place for a relaxing stroll, and to take in the surrounding scenery, bear in mind swimming is prohibited, as it is a source of drinking water. If you can tear yourself away from your beautiful accommodation in southern Corsica, our package holidays include car hire, so exploring the surrounding areas is easy! Browse our holidays here.

Whilst the boys skimmed stones at the lake a few others were riding horses in the hills – a magnificent way to see Bonifacio and its limestone cliffs. There are plenty of companies offering horse treks in Corsica, browse them here. Bonifacio is a stunning town with a lively marina lined with bars, restaurants, and shops. As you glance upwards, you will see the beautiful walled citadel, it is well worth the steep climb up to be rewarded with stunning views and a stroll around the quaint streets. Of course, the cast need places to discuss the previous night’s dramas! Some headed to La Bergerie D’Acciola, a beautiful restaurant serving delicious food with gorgeous views, it is a lovely stop-off on the way to Sartène, a pretty commune with a history dating back to medieval times. The restaurant has its own car park and serves a variety of meat and vegetarian dishes, and of course, a selection of wines and sweet treats! Eating out in Corsica is sure to provide you with an outstanding meal, the true exclusive Corsican experience.

For those looking for a beautiful beach not far from the town of Porto Vecchio, Plage de Tamaricciu is a pretty, rocky beach with steps down to patches of sand, perfect to find your own little sunbathing spot for the day. Two members of the MIC cast spent the morning fishing perched atop a rock with pine forest-backed scenery. The waters here are shallow, perfect for paddling and soaking up the Mediterranean sunshine that glistens on the azure waters.
