A dreamy family escape in Corsica: stunning views, total privacy, and a luxury villa that felt like our own private retreat.
My wife, young daughter and I had the absolute pleasure of spending a week in the stunning Casa di Padula in Corsica, and what a week it was.
From the moment we swept through the electric gates and down to the property, we knew we were in for something special. Perched in a perfectly sun-drenched spot with panoramic views, the villa felt like our own private sanctuary. It was the kind of place that instantly makes you feel like a celebrity, minus the paparazzi.

The pool quickly became the heart of our stay; our daughter spent hours splashing around to her heart's content. Each morning, it was the first thing she wanted to do! Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, it was a dream to dip into first thing in the morning and unwind in the evening, watching the sun sink over the Corsican hills. The location of the pool couldn’t have been better, with the sun shining on it all day long and total privacy.
The atmosphere in the surrounding grounds was pure bliss, the sound of cicadas punctuated our days and the views out over the hills were gorgeously green. It was extremely refreshing to be in the heart of the Corsican countryside, yet still so close to the likes of St Florent.

Inside, the villa was incredibly spacious, with large open rooms that gave us all a chance to relax. Whether it was lazy breakfasts on the terrace, afternoon BBQs, or evening dinners under the stars, the extra spaces were ideal for quality family time.

Everything about the property was finished to a fantastic standard, stylish, comfortable, and impeccably maintained. It felt like a luxury retreat that we had all to ourselves, and we made every minute count!

If you’re looking for a family escape where you can truly switch off, soak up some sun, and enjoy a slice of Mediterranean heaven, Casa di Padula is exactly that. We all agreed that one week at Casa di Padula was not enough!
