Corsica boasts some outstanding eateries, and you can find delicious lunches, snacks, cocktails and soft drinks to suit everyone. In the north, L'Île Rousse beach and Santa Giulia both have ample beach bars and cafes to choose from. For families, most bars offer a pre-bookable service for their sun loungers online, therefore if you have a specific location in mind, we recommend booking in advance.

For a fun family activity, don’t forget to pack your snorkel! Corsica’s crystal-clear waters attract plenty of marine life, making for the ultimate snorkelling hotspot. The shallow water around Calvi beach makes it the perfect place for kids to try out snorkelling for the first time. Punta Spano beach is another superb snorkelling spot, despite its lack of beach facilities. For families who don’t mind bringing their own picnic and umbrellas, it’s a must visit!

For a more relaxing day out on the water why not hire a boat and explore the Scandola Nature Reserve? There is even a sunset boat excursion available in the Gulf of Calvi. If you’re staying in the south of the island, visit Rondinara, an infamous horseshoe bay. Sheltered from the wind, this calm cove is ideal for relaxing water activities for all the family.
