Bright and airy, everything we needed from a holiday apartment. Nice quiet spot, great with the children, we'd sit on the terrace listening to the cicadas whilst they were tucked up in bed. Plenty of space for them to run around, although we needed to keep an eye on them because of the pool and the open grounds but it gave them a sense of freedom that they don't get at home. The pool is shared between the four apartments but it is large enough for everyone, the garden has a nice Mediterranean feel with lavender and thin Italian pines. The La Roya beach at St Florent is sandy but did have some seaweed at times which did deter our beach picnics but we explored the area taking a boat trip from the port to Saleccia, simply amazing and so unspoilt.
We found the apartments were in a great spot, slightly away from the hustle and bustle of St Florent, just what we needed to get away from the rat race, but near enough to pop in for 'Pizzas à emporter' or a quick bite to eat. The restaurants were reasonably child friendly and the port is fun to walk around, there was even a little tourist market when we were there. We explored some of the Cap Corse, after the effort of the steps, great views from the village and the inky black pebble beach at Nonza was surprising although a very long climb down, and something that couldn't be done if the children were smaller.
