Zia Assunta is situated on the second floor of an old village building as pictured above, and sits on the Place du Village, the main square in Erbalunga. Recently refurbished and renovated by the owners, Hélène and Lydie, the apartment is comfortable and well equipped. Zia Assunta has views out over the central square towards the sea in this peaceful seaside village, the only commotion will be from the restaurants and café terraces, as the village centre is pedestrianised. Zia Assunta is popular with older families and couples alike due to its proximity to all facilities. There are a number of restaurants and cafés in the village and you can swim from rocks and the pebble beach nearby. In August the streets of the 'Artists quarter' move to the sound of Jazz, but whenever you go you will appreciate the special village atmosphere of this popular location.

Being on the second floor the apartment feels nice and private when you open the French windows. The village is peaceful of an afternoon once the bollards go up, wonderful to just sit there and read a book. As the apartment is in a pedestrian area lugging the bags could be a bit of a pain - I would recommend taking a 'wheelie' case.
For fancy food try 'Le Pirate', a bit pricey but well worth it for its position on the port. There are cheaper options should you want to eat out but the kitchen is really well kitted out.
For a beach you can drive to Pietracorbora for sand - if you don't mind pebbles there are other beaches nearer.
