Situated on the hillside above the Route de Porto, Apartment Monti e Mare is a lovely two bedroom apartment with a pretty lawned garden that drops down to the old coast road. Monti e Mare is pleasantly and comfortably furnished, the living area is bright and airy and there are wrought iron day beds to relax on in the heat of the day. Patio doors open from the bedrooms and living area onto a pleasant and always shaded terrace with views over the garden to the sea. Although small, the kitchen is fully equipped, ideal for preparing al fresco lunches, and should you fancy going out for a meal, a gate leads from the garden onto the coast road and it is just 7 minutes walk into the heart of Calvi town with its plethora of restaurants and shops.

One of the highlights of this property is the pretty flowery garden, with the sea as a mass backdrop I would sit on the terrace here for hours if I could! This place is very near the Citadel area of Calvi, which is very quaint and a bit further on from this is the Marina and town. It's only about a 15-minute walk from the property so close enough to everything, but far enough out to enjoy some peace.

The sofa furniture there is a little strange with iron bars at the sides but is kitted out with cushions so is fairly comfortable if sitting inside, which is actually unlikely bearing in mind the view and lovely terrace area.

This apartment was a little rustic, but certainly comfortable enough for a holiday here!
