On the third and top floor of this traditional Citadel building and a great address in Calvi, the apartment is owned by a famous musician who until recently used it as his base in town. Tao By’s apartment is well equipped and comfortably furnished, with the emphasis on relaxation. The panoramic views of Calvi bay from the small balcony are simply superb and guests are sure to enjoy many al-fresco meals as night falls. If you can drag yourself away from the balcony, the shops, restaurants and bars of Calvi town are not far away.

I went to visit this lovely apartment within Calvi Citadelle in June 2007. Its benefits are a nice layout, spacious accommodation and gorgeous sea views from the lounge.

The apartment is in a very old building full of charm, but only has stairs to access it and the apartment is located near to the Tao bar which has live music most nights (and is actually a night club in the summer until early in the morning). It is good for young couples but maybe not so great if you like an early night.
