Why Visit Corsica?

Corsica is our closest Mediterranean island & has something for everyone.

A fantastic climate, activities to suit all tastes, some serious food and wine, plus gently shelving sandy beaches - ideal for families.

Corsica Sailing Itinerary

With your own skipper who knows Corsica sailing waters like the back of his hand, you will be shown some of the many wonders of this 'Mountain in the Sea'.

Why not visit the Gulf of Sagone and see the 'Greek village', Cargèse, or the Iles Sanguinaires, beautiful headlands best seen from the sea, that appear a vivid red in the sunset, a truly remarkable experience.

The Gulf of Porto on the west coast is an absolute must - you will be amazed at the awe inspiring beauty of this UNESCO world heritage site, where the pink granite rocks plummet into the sea from a height of a thousand metres, one of the natural wonders of Corsica. Above Calvi, whet your appetite by sailing the coast of Le Désert des Agriates, to St Florent, some thirty-five kilometres of wild, rugged coastline cloaked in maquis and interspersed with beaches of silver sand.

The south-eastern coast offers a multitude of small gulfs and creeks, often sheltered like the bays of Pinarellu and San Ciprianu, where you could stop off and enjoy the best beaches on the island. The sea is crystal clear and its temperature allows swimming throughout the summer season. Bonifacio, the old town perched precariously on the cliffs, is a sheltered port and an ideal stopover to sample the local cuisine. From this town sail over to the northern Sardinian islands of La Maddelena.

The options are endless for a sailing escapade. Every day can be varied, and depending on your experience, you can have as much or as little involvement in the sailing itinerary as you wish. Discuss with the skipper the routes that are most suitable for your holiday.
