With a flying time of around two hours, our direct flight to Corsica is now available by both charter and scheduled flight and depart on Sundays from May until October.

Following the purchase of GB Airways by Easyjet, for the 2008 season GB will not be operating routes into Corsica under the British Airways flag. Easyjet will operate the GB Airways summer schedule as Easyjet with their terms and conditions. Both Ajaccio and Bastia are planned to be a weekly service on Sundays from May to end of September.

We also fly from a wide variety of regional airports with flights out of Bristol, Manchester and Edinburgh operating throughout the summer season.

Astraeus, our airline on a number of routes into Corsica, has been praised by a number of guests for the substantial leg room on their charter flights.

Now well established with their scheduled flight to Corsica we also have a Sunday service to Ajaccio. Scheduled services to Corsica are available on any day of the week via the French mainland but require change of flights and sometimes a change of terminal.

Airlines and flight times to Corsica may be subject to alteration. Flights to be run by GB Airways, British Midland, SN Brussels, FlyBe, Astraeus, Jet 2, Monarch.

The direct flight to Corsica generally leaves the UK early in the morning, we do realise this makes for an early start so you may wish to make a hotel reservation for the night before departure, please click here for details.

Due to the stringent regulations for flying in and out of Corsica it has been known for flights to be altered in which instance we will contact you immediately.

Your Special Requests and Needs

Specific dietary requirements for your flight to Corsica including requests for vegetarian or children's meals should be passed on to us either at the time of booking or up to a week before departure. We regret that requests cannot be guaranteed. Seating is arranged by the airline at check-in and requests for specific seats cannot normally be made. Please advise us if you have a mobility problem and need special transport at the airport or if you or a member of your party are pregnant at time of departure, please note that this may affect where the airline seats you on the aircraft. Infants under 2 years on the date of return are not allocated a seat by the airlines and must be seated on a parents lap whenever the seatbelt signs are illuminated. Children over 2 are allocated an airline seat. Should parents wish for an extra seat for infants just under 2 years, a seat can be paid for at the flight only price.

Name changes

The name shown on your ticket should match the name on your passport so we ask you to ensure that all names are given correctly at time of booking. Please double-check that we have your correct names on your confirmation invoice. Once your flight to Corsica has been confirmed, name changes are not usually possible without incurring an administration charge.

Overseas Airports

Most of the airports on Corsica are much smaller than those here in the UK and consequently do not have comparable facilities.

Transfers

Most transfers from Calvi airport to properties are by private taxi. In the event of a last minute flight diversion, a coach will be used and clients are requested to note that individual seatbelts may not be provided.
