Corsican Places launches its 2010 brochure this week, confirming its status as the leading Corsican specialist.
Highlights for 2010 include:
Over 120 Property Choices
Corsican Places continues to offer the widest range of accommodation to the UK holiday market – over 120 property choices - much of which is exclusive to its programme. The tour operator specializes in private self-catering properties - the vast majority being in close proximity to the coast – but its portfolio also includes rural cottages, as well as a range of hotels from the simple 2* family auberge, to the best in Corsica - 4* luxe. 17 NEW Properties
The Corsican Places 2010 portfolio features 17 new properties, 13 of which are brochured and four which are available on its website only www.corsica.co.uk. The online collection is likely to increase further throughout the year. View all new properties
Villa Bicu Rossu
New properties include Villa Bicu Rossu in Tarrabucceta in the south of the island.
Located between Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio, this two-bedroom villa is set in secluded olive woodland and comes complete with private pool, vineyard and mountain views.
A Casuccia
A Casuccia is a traditional Corsican stone house set in a rural spot on the Costa Verde (north east Corsica). Surrounded by the villages of the Castagniccia, this two-bedroom villa also includes a private pool and offers mountain views. The golden beaches of the Moriani Plage are only five minutes drive away.
Casa Ghjulia
The four-bedroom Casa Ghjulia is a contemporary villa perched on the mountainside just above the village of Erbalunga. Backed by the majestic Monte Stello - the second-highest peak of the Cap Corse - Casa Ghjulia boasts spectacular views across the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Hotel St Christophe
Hotel St Christophe has an enviable position situated on the rocks beneath Calvi Citadel and as a result offers magnificent views. The swimming pool is sited at the lower level and here further steps lead down to the sea enabling guests to swim and snorkel using the rocks as their base.
Calvi harbour and beach are just a short walk away.
Holiday Packages, Accommodation-Only or Flight-Only
Recognising that holidays to Corsica have evolved, Corsican Places is pleased to offer flexibility regards travel options for its clients. Therefore, holiday packages, as well as ‘accommodation-only’ and ‘flight-only’ can be booked.
Due to the choice of airlines now servicing Corsica (including the low-cost easyJet and bmibaby), Corsican Places has chosen to present accommodation-only prices alongside holiday package prices for the first time within its new brochure. If requested, Corsican Places is happy to book flights on behalf of its customers. Competitive car hire can also be quoted.
Events & Festivals
Courtesy of a strong resort team, Corsican Places is kept uptodate with events and festivities on the island, which can add that extra experience to a holiday.

Early Booking Offers – Book by 30 November 09
Corsican Places is offering a number of Early Booking Offers, valid for 2010 holidays if booked by 30 November 2009. These include £50 per person discounts on holiday packages incorporating selected properties; accommodation-only discounts of up to £200 per week, and increased child discounts applicable on certain package prices.
Next season (2010), a 7-night holiday with Corsican Places starts from £349 per person.
This price is based on self-catering accommodation at the two-bedroom apartment, Casa Anna in the Calvi Citadel. The price, based on four sharing, includes return flights from London Gatwick, transfers and taxes, and includes the early booking discount of £50 per person.
Accommodation-only prices start at £390 for the week, based on the one-bedroom village house, Maison Paraso in La Balagne, and including an early booking discount of £112.
