It also pays to have your currency arranged before arriving in Corsica, as facilities for this are limited at the airports. Having said that they are generally clean and well organised and provide a good service – and, as ever, should you need help with anything, Corsican Places Representatives will be at the airport. Ajaccio Airport
You can fly to Ajaccio, the capital of Corsica, from Gatwick airport on a 'No frills' service – the airport serves the Gulfs of the West Coast area of Corsica. A typical journey from here to Porto Pollo would take around 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Bastia Airport
You can fly to Bastia from Gatwick on a 'No frills' service, Birmingham and Edinburgh airports – the airport serves the Le Nebbio, Cap Corse and Costa Verde as well as La Balagne regions of Corsica. A typical journey from Bastia airport to St Florent takes around 45 minutes and a journey to Calvi will take up to 90 minutes. You can also access L'Extreme Sud but a typical journey to Porto Vecchio can take up to two and half hours.

Calvi Airport
You can fly to Calvi airport from Stansted – the airport serves Calvi and the La Balagne region of Corsica. A typical journey from Calvi airport to Calvi takes around 10 minutes and Ile Rousse is just 25 minutes away. A journey to St Florent will take around 90 minutes.

Figari Airport
You can fly to Figari airport from Gatwick and Manchester – the airport serves the L’Extreme Sud and the Valinco Gulf. A typical journey from Figari airport to Porto Vecchio takes 25 minutes and Propriano will take around 75 minutes.
