From the picturesque sandy coves of the Valinco Gulf to the astounding rugged cliffs of Piana, it offers some of the most spectacular scenery in Corsica.
Stretching between the headlands of Capo di Muro and Campomoro, the Valinco is the most southerly of the four great bays indenting Corsica's west coast. The blood-red of les Iles Sanguinaires aflame at sunset and the sweeping silvery strands of beaches make the Ajaccio Gulf a real beauty. To the north, Porto and Piana claim to be situated in one of the most beautiful bays in the world, and there are few who would argue.
With the coarse golden sand beaches backed by lush green maquis of the Valinco, this rugged coastline, sculptured by wind and sea, offers some of the most spectacular scenery in Corsica.
