Gulfs of the West Coast

With the coarse golden sand beaches backed by lush green maquis of the Valinco, this rugged coastline, sculptured by wind and sea, offers some of the most spectacular scenery in Corsica.

Between the headlands lies the Valinco Gulf, with brooding hill towns, tiny ports and some finest beaches on the island. The clear, sun kissed waters and secluded coves are backed by lush hillsides, teeming with history.  

Sitting at the tip of the Valinco Gulf, with Campomoro being ranked as one of the prettiest seaside villages on the island and the blood-red of les Iles Sanguinaires aflame at sunset, this makes the Ajaccio Gulf a beauty.
