A growing number of older holidaymakers are booking their holidays at the last minute, new figures suggest.
Over-55s operator Grand UK Holidays has revealed that 60 per cent of bookings made between July and August were for last-minute breaks.
Some 13 per cent of these last-minute breaks were for travel in August, reports TravelMole.
Sales director Harold Burke told the website that this trend has become "more pronounced over recent years".
