France is the Best Place to Live

The 2010 Quality of Life Index by Internationliving.com lists France as the best place to live for the fifth year running and Corsica is highlighted as one of the country’s top locations. 194 countries are ranked in the annual Index  with scores given for nine categories:

1. cost of living
2. culture and leisure
3. economy
4. environment
5. freedom
6. health
7. infrastructure
8. safety and risk
9. climate

France scored high in most of the categories and the overall quality of life, “bon viviant lifestyle” and “world’s best heath care” are all highlighted.
