Corsica's "Babbu di a Patria" or father of the nation is celebrated at the Maison Natale de Pascal Paoli in Morosaglia, a must-do on a visit to northern Corsica.
The museum, which was installed into Paoli's birthplace, retraces the biography of the national hero and the history of his government in the 18th century.
The museum is open from 9am to 5pm from October to April and 6pm during the high season.
Morosaglia is located about 50 kilometres south of Bastia.
