Paddaghiu has the largest collection of menhirs in the Mediterranean, an impressive relic of bygone civilisations which will captivate both children and adults.
The Alignement of Paddaghiu is well worth visiting on a holiday to Corsica as it counts some 255 megalithic statuaries, a large number of which are still in the standing position.
The prehistoric site is located near Sartene and Bonifacio, and is also easily accessible from capital Ajaccio, situated about 85 kilometres north.
