Caravan theft cut by security measures

01 September 2008

Advanced security measures have helped to cut the number of caravan thefts, figures from the National Caravan Council show.

Wheel clamps and chassis locks are being used by caravan holidaymakers to secure their vehicles, explained the council's director of communications Louise Wood.

She said that by using these devices, caravan owners have helped to halve the number of thefts.
