Ferry travel is set to continue rising in popularity as tourists look for less expensive ways to holiday, one industry organisation has said.
The Passenger Shipping Association has suggested that ferries are good value for money and will continue to attract travellers given the current economic climate.
"Travelling by ferry is incredibly good value, especially if you are prepared to travel outside the more busy times," said the association's director William Gibbons.
