The Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) is calling on the government to provide holidaymakers with greater protection against airline collapse.
Following the failure of Zoom, the organisation has said the government should do more to make sure airlines offer financial protection to customers.
"This failure in a tough economic climate, along with numerous other airline failures this year, highlights the importance of having financial protection in place when you book flights," said ABTA's chief executive Mark Tanzer.
