Holidaymakers should chose their travel insurance policies based on the type of trip they wish to take.
Malcolm Tarling from the Association of British Insurers (ABI) has suggested that different destinations may have individual risks resulting in the need for tailored insurance policies.
For example, he explained that those people taking an adventure or outdoors break – such as those available in Corsica – may need to take out an insurance package that covers outdoor pursuits.
