Holiday romance has led to marriage for one in ten Britons, according to new research.
A survey from Moneysupermarket.com has revealed that nine per cent of UK tourists said a holiday fling has resulted in a wedding.
Interestingly, older holidaymakers are more likely to let a holiday romance blossom with one in five tying the knot with a partner met overseas.
"It seems the over sixties are hopeless romantics and it's great to know that you are never too old to find love," said Peter Gerrard from the price comparison website.
