A currency expert has advised holidaymakers to avoid buying euros at airport currency exchanges.
Exchange rates and fees at the airport could add to the increased cost of travelling abroad, said Stephen Heath, chief executive of FairFX.com.
He explained that zero percent commission deals hide "poor rates of exchange".
"I would warn anyone planning to get their Euros from the airport to think again," Mr Heath said.
