Cruise holidays have fallen in price by £2,000 over the past ten year, figures from P&O suggest.
The cruise line has revealed that the price of taking a cruise currently stands at around £1,579 per couple, down from £2,520 in 1998.
This equates to a price drop of £900 per person.
"Household expenditure on everyday items has practically doubled, whilst cruise holidays have become more affordable than ever," said P&O's managing director Nigel Esdale.
