For a bit of thrill and adventure, visitors on a holiday to Corsica should join one of the helicopter tours flying to all four corners of the island every day.
This is a perfect activity for families and small groups of friends as each flight can transport up to five people at a time.
Ajaccio-based company Corseus Helicopteres can organise various tours ranging from short 20-minute flights over the Gulf of Ajaccio to two-hour flights to the Agriates Desert.
The Gulf tour costs €416 or €83 per person, while a one and a half hours tour going to Bonifacio and Bavella's needles cost €2,080 or €416 per person.
