Learn to fly in Corsica

21 August 2008

Looking for a dream activity in a dream place? Join Marc or Jose on their Cessna 172 plane or Robinson R44 helicopter for a loop over the Balagne.

The Aero-club Calvi Balagne can organise first-time flights, as well as introductory courses and full courses to learn to fly, while admiring the Big Blue and the island's magical coastline.

Thirty minutes first-time flights on the plane cost €100 for three people, while a full introductory course costs around €200 to €450 for three people, depending on the distance explored.

The short course is a fascinating way of discovering the Balagne, Cape Corsica, the Scandola Nature Reserve and many other key places of the Beauty Island.
