Britons should check the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) website before travelling overseas.
When visiting unusual places, holidaymakers should check the FCO for updates on travel advice and security, the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) has said.
Spokesperson Sean Tipton explained that this is particularly relevant to those who are considering a trip from Europe to Beijing for the Olympics.
