Sardinia is only one hour away from southern Corsica and makes a perfect day out for the whole family on a holiday to Corsica.
Corsica Ferries operates two crossings into Sardinia, one going from Bonifacio to Santa Teresa di Gallura in exactly one hour, and the other departing from Bastia to Golfo Aranci in three and a half hours.
The Italian island has plenty of lovely beaches and innumerable creeks and coves waiting to be explored.
Visitors can also head for the nearby ancient nuragic village on the way to Capo Testa before returning to Santa Teresa to explore its shopping district.
