Corsica's main ferry company, which links southern France to the island, has announced the potential arrival of a fourth ship and the opening of a new crossing for next year, Var-Matin has reported.
The news arrives shortly after the harbour of Toulon in France reached its one million passengers a year to Corsica last June with company Corsica Ferries.
The yellow ferries currently link Toulon and Nice in southern France with capital Ajaccio, Bastia, Calvi and Ile-Rousse.
