Ryanair has announced that it will cancel bookings made through third-party websites.
Up to 20,000 passengers could be affected by the plans, although travel insurance firm Essential Travel has moved to reassure its customers.
Customers who bought cover before August 6th will be covered if their bookings are deemed invalid, said director Stuart Bensusan.
