There several things Brits can do to cut the cost of foreign holidays, says France Tuke from the Association of British Travel Agents (Abta).
In an article written for the BBC website, the travel expert reminds holidaymakers that exchanging money at the airport can be "the most expensive" way of buying euros.
Using credit and debit cards overseas can often carry a charge, which Ms Tuke advises tourists to look out for.
Taking a combination of currency and travellers cheques can cut down costs and mean people have different options.
