A quarter of all Brits head off on summer holidays without taking out travel insurance, figures from Sainsbury's bank show.
The financial services provider has revealed that 13 million British tourists fail to buy holiday cover before travelling abroad.
A third of those polled by Sainsbury's said the feel they "do not need" travel insurance and a further one in five said they "can't afford" to take out a policy.
