People planning a foreign holiday could struggle to save enough spending money, one expert has said.
The credit crunch will not stop holidaymakers from booking trips abroad, but could pose problems for those who do not save spending money in advance, explained Peter Hampson from the British Resorts and Destinations Association.
He commented that price changes and the economic holiday will not impact bookings as for overseas trips people "tend to buy and plan in advance".
"It's been paid for months ago. It's only when they start getting down to holiday money and the surcharges that they realise what the expenses are."
