More Brits tie the knot abroad

A growing number of British couples are choosing to get married abroad in a bid to beat the unreliable UK weather.

Travelling to sunnier climes to exchange vows is gaining in popularity and the emergence of low-cost airlines is making an overseas wedding available to people, regardless of income, the British Insurance Brokers' Association has said.

"What with low-cost airlines offering great deals for superb locations, there is an increase in overseas weddings", explained spokesperson Peter Staddon.
