Taking a beach holiday helps to boost the emotional and mental wellbeing of busy Brits, new research suggests.
A study from Carter Allen has revealed that 43 per cent of UK consumers say taking a break by the sea helps to maintain their mental health and welfare.
A further 17 per cent say they "live for their holiday", with the majority of those polled claiming that they need to take time away in order to cope with the demands of a hectic work life.
