Pinia Forest is one of the biggest forests in Corsica and a perfect day excursion for the whole family.
Home to numerous owls and falcons that hide in the tall pine trees and oak trees, Pinia Forest is an exciting and unpredictable place.
Located next to Urbino pond and surrounded by some 3.5 kilometres of coastline, expanses of maquis and sand dunes, the area is definitely worth the trip.
This is Corsica's biggest coastal forest, kept under the protection of the Conservatoire du Littoral.
The nearest town is Ghisonnaccia, which is located about one and a half hours away from capital Ajaccio.
