People are still keen to book holidays, despite the current economic climate, according to one industry organisation.
Independent tour operators association AITO has revealed that holiday bookings are "quite healthy" with tourists already considering their options for next summer.
Spokesperson Ian Bradley explained that people are making arrangements now with a view to saving towards next summer's overseas trip.
He said that a "book it now and save up in the meantime" trend has emerged.
