It can be cheaper and easier for families to travel abroad than holiday in the UK, one expert has said.
Travel for Kids editor Elizabeth Young explained that low-cost airlines are making overseas holidays more accessible for families.
She said that cheap flights mean a short break can prove a welcome alternative to "having to drive to the beach in the UK".
