The forest of Bonifato makes an excellent day out for both adults and younger visitors to north Corsica, especially when temperatures soar the 30 degrees C.
The forest is located around half an hour south of Calvi or village Calenzana in the Balagne.
Take the D81 road towards village Square and turn left off the main road in direction of the mountain. The forest rests at the foot of the mountain.
