After a few days spent on the beach, it is high time to go for an adventure and discover the very heart of Corsica and the lives of its inhabitants.
The D19 road just off Propriano, south Corsica, offers magnificent views over Valinco Gulf and small villages at Viggianello, the very opportunity to peep at gravity-defying stone houses always perched at the top of sheer cliffs.
Follow the road for a quick drive through picturesque Arbellara or Giacomoni hamlets and a walk through Vadde Mala forest.
