Packaged holidays are particularly popular among families with children for the extra commodities that they offer, travelsupermarket.com has declared.
According to Kayte Williams, holiday travel manager at the online comparison service, families can count on tour operators to arrange pre-bookings for cots or pushchairs, and can also rely on the presence of children's clubs within the resorts.
All-inclusive holidays also enable families not to have to worry about costs as everything is generally included, and in the case of Corsica, holiday makers would also avoid losing out on the current strong value of the Euro.
Beyond the general belief that packaged holidays are more expensive, Mrs. Williams has said that prices often "depend on the destination" and the "time of year".
"In some instances you would find that booking separately may be cheaper than a package but in other instances it could work out the package is better," she added.
Knowing that everything is included and organised gives visitors to the Island of Beauty more time to appreciate the island's wonders, without the stress of organising excursions, transport and purchases.
