What nobody wants for their one-week holiday is to see it wasted by lack of planning, and that is the precise reason why tour operators are here to help holiday makers plan their trips, as they have been to the destinations already and know what is best.
Every year, tour operators come to Corsica to visit new parts of the island so as to advise travellers more efficiently.
Some 1,300 travel agents will visit the whole island to discover new wonders for customers to explore this year, Corse Matin reports.
This figure represents a 25 per cent increase on the number of agents compared to last year, showing the island's growing popularity in the tourism industry.
All tourism professionals join several discovery tours across the French island and attend workshops so as to know the destination better.
Agents will work around themes such as "one weekend to discover Corsica in low season" and cumulate visits to various important spots on the island such as Bastia, Monticello, the botanic park of Saleccia, typical villages in the Balagne, Scandola natural reserve and many others.
