Corsican movie Sempre Vivu will be available in stores from March, 19th this year.
The film, a satirical comedy by Robin Renucci, depicts a traditional Corsican village caught in a web of lies and misunderstandings.
The DVD will also provide a 50-minute documentary on the shooting of the movie.
Influenced by Robin Renucci's passion for drama, the setting and characters of the movies are all very familiar to the Italian Commedia dell'Arte form.
The independence of Corsica is also one of the subjects depicted in the movie. Two brothers continuously oppose each other, one of then being a nationalist, the other a supporter of the French government.
Speaking about the film, Renucci said: "We needed a farce to talk about the consequences of lies, corruption, administrations' autism and rulers' selfishness without crying."
An actor for many years, Renucci received the Best Actor title in 1986 with the film Escalier C by Jean-Charles Tacchella.
In 1998, he founded Aria, the association of international artistic festivals, and organises international drama festivals in Corsica every year.
