Perched high on the cliffs above the sea, Hotel Roc e Mare boasts an enviable position with stunning views across the Valinco bay and direct access to a delightful sandy cove. Typically French in style, the hotel is traditionally decorated in terracotta and creams with the breakfast terrace and bar area offering a magnificent outlook over the horseshoe headland. The standard rooms “Chambres Roc” are positioned on the lower levels offering glimpses of the sea through the trees, whilst the superior rooms “Chambres Mare” are on the higher floors with a clearer view of the bay as well as air-conditioning. From the hotel, follow the steps down to the secluded beach which has ample sun loungers, umbrellas (available at a supplement) and a snack bar offering a selection of light meals, sweets and refreshing drinks. Conveniently located on the outskirts of Propriano, the hotel is only a 15-minute walk away from the town centre with its bustling marina, little shops and a wide choice of quayside cafés and restaurants. It is also a great base from which to explore the area including the old town of Sartène or the picturesque fishing villages of Campomoro and Porto Pollo.
