What We Think
New to our 2012 collection, le Quai des Pêcheurs is a delightful seaside apartment offering marvellous views across the translucent sea to the picturesque mountains of the Alta Rocca beyond. Set in a prized position, it is only steps away from the sandy beach of Campomoro and a short stroll to a handful of restaurants and local shops. The property itself is simple in style and consists of a double bedroom, a separate shower room and an open plan living area with doors leading to a large covered terrace. From here, the views across the bay are just fabulous and guests will soon make it their favourite vantage point to watch the boats sail by, whilst becoming pleasantly accustomed to the laid-back atmosphere of the village. There is also a patio area to the side of the apartment, complete with a couple of sunloungers and a built-in barbecue – it is shared with the owner who occupies the first-floor apartment at times, usually at the weekend. A 10-minute walk along the coast will lead you to the Campomoro watchtower, the largest of its kind on the island. For the more adventurous, follow the coastal path to the south through the wild maquis fringed by dramatic rock formations and choose your swimming spot amongst a series of secluded creeks. Le Quai des Pêcheurs is the perfect choice for couples seeking a relaxing base from which to explore the wonders of the Valinco.
