Tucked away on the hillside above the plain of Figari, Casa Matteu is an alluring villa with a private pool and captivating views. This beautiful stone-built house exudes real charm and character, and has been thoughtfully designed to take advantage of the uninterrupted views and surrounding nature. The villa has been well finished and stylishly decorated with many personal touches and elegant furnishings, making it a real home-from-home. It is also extremely well equipped with a number of modern conveniences including air-conditioning throughout, internet access, television, DVD player and even a music corner. Outside, the setting is truly delightful; the house is completely immersed in the maquis with an abundance of trees and Mediterranean plants providing shade throughout the day, and the pool area affords a sweeping view across the mountains stretching as far as the Gulf of Figari beyond. There is a nice summer kitchen complete with a barbecue and dining area, and there is also table tennis at the side of the house. The local bakery makes deliveries every morning with a choice of fresh bread and pastries (payable locally), and there is a village shop just 5 minutes’ drive away with a small selection of groceries.
With some of the finest beaches on the island nearby, Casa Matteu is the ideal choice for a relaxing holiday.
This property is considered unsuitable for young children due to the outside railings and design of the swimming pool.
