Traditionally decorated with rustic wooden furniture, Maltiponu is a compact and pretty stone house with the most beautiful views of Palombaggia, one of the most popular and well-known silver sand beaches on the island. The location is a key feature for Maltiponu, set in gently terraced grounds of olive, myrtle and cork oak, the land falls away through the parasol pines to the glistening coastline. Exuding an abundance of Mediterranean aromas and offering a prefect blend between sun and shade, the gardens enhance the house’s holiday feel. The interior is simply equipped and very traditional with some quirky touches. French doors open from the small bedrooms and living room onto a delightful covered terrace, an ideal spot from which to soak up the scenery whilst enjoying a glass of local Corsican wine. It is just a short walk down Maltiponu’s winding driveway and the coastal road below to the breathtaking Palombaggia beach with its gently shelving sands and popular restaurants. For those who can tear themselves away from the views, Porto Vecchio with its lively cafés, stylish restaurants and chic boutiques is also only 15 minutes away. Maltiponu is a quaint house, perfect for couples or small families wanting an authentic Corsican property, in close proximity to the superb beaches that the south has to offer.
