This is a comfortable villa with a modern pool area decked around the outside. It's good if there are two families travelling together as the pool is shared with Villa Suartello and is a good base to discover Porto Vecchio and the south of Corsica...

Canyoning

Take canyoning trips in the valley up to Bavella from Solenzara.  For the less adventurous they have two other, less demanding, adventure trails, one at Lecci and the other on the south side of Porto Vecchio.

Palombaggia

Arguably the most famous beach on the island, the beach at Palombaggia is one of Corsica's finest and therefore one of its most popular. It was voted one of Europe's top 20 beaches in a poll in the Times and as such it can be very crowded in peak season - and it's easy to see why. An exquisite blend of fine white sand guarded by huge red granite rocks, fronted with gorgeous blue seas and lined with beautiful pine trees. The access road may seem long and it can be crowded in high season, but at any other time of year is well worth a visit.

Set in countryside just outside Palavesa, a peaceful hamlet of Porto Vecchio, and ideally situated between the mountains and beaches of the coast.

Modern, comfortably furnished and well equipped, Villa Solea is ideal for families. Independent and all on one level, the property shares a pool with Villas Suartello. The villas have delightful mountain views from the terraces and maquis style garden, and plenty of land on which children can play.

Palavesa is the perfect spot for relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle of central Porto Vecchio, which can in the height of summer be busy.  Head towards the mountains and horse riding or trekking, climbing and walking can be found nearby, a highlight for a moderate walk being to the ‘Piscia di Gallo’ or Cockerel waterfall. If you are looking for water sports, windsurfing, kayaking and diving can all be found on various child friendly beaches on the coast, just 10 minutes drive away.
