What We Think
Originally an 18th Century Corsican farmhouse, la Dimora has been beautifully renovated to create an elegant character boutique hotel with a very intimate and personal feel. Immersed in wonderful grounds of fragrant lavender and ancient olive trees, the hotel features a fabulous secluded pool area along with plenty of comfortable patio sofas and plush cushions to relax on. The rooms are set away from the pool area and are arranged around a former courtyard – each is uniquely decorated, stylishly blending the building’s original stonework with solid wood and cast iron. Try the lounge bar for an early apéritif or to sample some of the best regional wines, our guests often tell us it’s the perfect venue to unwind before venturing out into town for dinner. St Florent is only a short drive away and will charm you with its relaxed pace of life, chic quayside lined with an array of bars and restaurants and its historic citadel. La Dimora is the ideal choice for couples and ticks all the boxes for a serene escape in a truly Corsican setting.
